    ARGENTINE Model FN-49 Saive semiautomatic rifle # 2028 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Fabrique Nationale in 1954 for the Argentine Navy (ARA).   Near Excellent condition, with 90% or better original painted finish (stoving) and mirror-perfect bore.     CHINESE Model FN24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 31903 (8x57) mfg. by Fabrique National in c.1930.  Good or so condition, weak FN logo above chamber, much light scattered rust on small parts. Bolt not matching, bore is rough but usable. Stock is walnut with some handling marks from use and a heavy ding on right side but sound with no cracks, has very bold Nationalist Chinese cartouche on right side.     CHINESE Model "Zhongzheng" Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 002438 (8x57) mfg. by Kung Hsien (Kunming), dated September 1945.  Very Good or so condition, bold markings above chamber, some light scattered rust on small parts.     CHINESE Type 53 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # 3097709 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Factory 26 in 1955. Very Good condition with 80% or better bluing on all metal parts. Magazine floorplate and buttplate serial number matches barrel, bolt does not (not unusual for these). Bore is extremely bright and strong. Buttstock and handguard has quite a few scuffs and scrapes in finish and looks weathered, but is sound. Balkan name SPIRO PERIKLHI carved into right side.     FINN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 40931 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by Belgium in 1942 on an early hex receiver. Excellent or better condition with 95% or better dark bluing on all metal parts. Bolt-knob 0931 (matching), bore is strong and mirror-bright (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). Postwar buttstock (squared finger-joints) has some scuffs and scrapes from storage and handling.  Very rare, made in the mid-1970's from reconfigured surplus M91 barrels (the first true M39 rifles were not produced until 1941).     FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 207568 (7.62x54R) mfg. by SAKO in 1941 with PUOLUSTUSLAITOS on barrel-shank, pistol-grip stock. Near Excellent condition with 85% bluing on all metal parts (wear only at sharp edges) and mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Matching bolt-knob, numbers on magazine-floorplate not matching, buttplate scrubbed. Includes cleaning-rod. Two-piece postwar stock (squared finger-joints) has a few minor handling-marks from transportation and storage. This legend was only used for two months in 1942, and was quickly replaced by [SA].     FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 259573 (7.62x54R), mfg. by SAKO in 1945.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with full bluing and an excellent near-mirror bore.  Bolt-knob numbered 9573 to match. Postwar stock (squared finger-joints) shows some marks from handling and storage and arsenal-repaired cracks on both side of tang. Includes cleaning-rod AND new postwar buttstock.     FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 46139 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1942 by Fabrique National  on a ROUND RECEIVER. Excellent-PLUS, essentially UNISSUED condition with full original dark bluing. Bolt-knob stamped 6139 (matching). Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod. Postwar stock (squared finger joints) looks new. Includes Finnish arsenal-tag dated April 27, 1979.     GERMAN Model 98k bolt-action 8mm rifle # 7745h having DEATH-HEAD marking (totenkopf, with runic SS letters and number 2 above) on left barrel-shank, made by Sauer & Son in 1939 (147 / 1939 markings atop receiver very faint).   A Russian-capture in excellent condition, many small parts electropenciled to match receiver (and left side of stock stamped) by the Russians. Has all milled parts, cleaning rod a reproduction. Bore is bright and strong, import-marked on right side of barrel. Solid wood stock has quite a few handling-marks and scuffs in the finish and a cupped buttplate.  A genuine Waffen SS rifle, authenticity of markings guaranteed, rare.     INDIAN Enfield No.1 Mk.III* bolt-action rifle # 53271K (.303 British) mfg. by Ishapore in 1948 with detachable cup-type grenade-launcher. Very Good or better condition, with most remaining painted enamel finish (some of it flaking and the underlying metal turning brown) and a surprisingly mirror-bright 4-groove bore. Has all-matching serial numbers, soldered wire-wrapped forend reinforced with a bolt in front of magazine-well. Wood has some scrapes and contact marks from other rifles, with a dovetailed arsenal repair at heel and toe and on the bottom ahead of magazine well. Magazine has no paint and is very browned.     JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action carbine Series 4, # 72107 (6.5x50) mfg. at Kokura in c.1936. Excellent condition with all original bluing remaining. Mum has been ground. Bayonet-lug, bolt (and all bolt parts) stamped 107 (matching). Bore is very bright and rifling is very strong, no cleaning rod or dust-cover, wood has original finish with the expected dings and handling marks, right side of stock and magazine floorplate has C816MQ scratched on it (likely by the soldier who captured it).     SIAMESE Model 1903 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 27417 (8x50), mfg. by Koishikawa  Arsenal  in 1903 with straight-bolt.  Very Good or better condition, with 80% original hading bluing on all parts. Includes sliding action-cover but missing cleaning rod. Bore is somewhat bright with strong rifling, walnut stock and handguard has many scratches, dings and handling-marks but has never been subjected to sandpaper or other refinishing.     SOVIET Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # IR1569 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Tula in 1938.  Excellent arsenal-refurbished condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle).     SOVIET Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # A05188 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula  in 1955-6 (undated).   Very Good original condition, with 60% or better bluing on all metal parts.     SWISS Model 1878 Vetterli bolt-action infantry rifle # 152414 (10.4mm Swiss rimfire) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in c.1882. Near Excellent condition, all-matching numbers (and every part is numbered). All original blued finish with only the slightest carry-wear on magaine and triggerguard from actual service use. Bore is mirror-bright and has strong rifling. Wood is walnut with its original finish (cartouches clear) having a few minor handling-marks and dings. Lacks cleaning-rod.     U.S.A. Model 1917 bolt-action rifle # 1166879 (.30-06) made by Eddystone in 1918. Excellent condition, with full bluing remaining on all external metal. Barrel is unmarked and likely made by VAR (Denmark). Bore is mirror bright and strong (TE = 1.5, MW = 0.5). Wood has the expected handling marks for a 102 year-old rifle and has NOT been sanded. This rifle was a lend-lease to both Canada and Denmark. The Canadians stamped a serial number atop the both (NOT matching) and an arrow in C cartouche on the bottom of the stock (mear magazine floorplate) and painted a red stripe on the forend (to indicate it was not chambered in .303 British), and The Danes stamped a serial number on the bottom of the stock (matching).     U.S.A. Model M1 Carbine # 171493 (.30 Carbine) mfg. by Inland in Spring of 1943.  Very Good condition with 60% gray phosphate finish, has undated  I.B.M. CORP marked barrel, STANDARD PRODUCTS marked stock-lug with push-button type safety and flat-top bolt. Early walnut high-wall buttstock has faint ordnance cartouche on right side and early front-band without bayonet-lug. Bore is very strong and bright, muzzle-wear gauges 3.0 and includes new blued 15-round magazine (only where legal).  Has BLUE SKY import-mark on left side of barrel.  PHOTOS . . . $825.   C&R   SOLD

    U.S.A. Model M1 Carbine # 7105 (.30 Carbine) mfg. by Alpine in 1962-1965.  Excellent condition with 95% high-gloss bluing. Alpine was a commercial venture located in Azusa, California and these were manufactured utilizing surplus U.S.G.I. small parts and a cut-down surplus 1903-A3 Springfield barrel on a subcontracted cast receiver. It has a lever type safety and round-top bolt. Very nice walnut surplus buttstock with low-profile metal handguard and late front-band with bayonet-lug. Bore is very strong and bright, muzzle-wear gauges literally 0.0 and includes new blued 30-round magazine (only where legal).
