COLT Model 1911 & 1911A1 HANDGUNS

U.S.A. Model 1911 Government Model semiautomatic pistol # C1833 (.45 ACP), mfg. by Colt in 1912.  Very Good condition, all original with 70% or better high-gloss bluing (much fire-blue remaining on hammer, trigger and safety) with some holster wear on both sides and encrustations on left side of slide.  Has a bright and strong bore, with  sharp checkered double-diamond walnut grips.  Includes a really excellent two-toned 7-round lanyard-loop magazine, strong markings including circled Colt logo. U.S.A. Model 1911 Government Model semiautomatic pistol # C7333 (.45 ACP), mfg. by Colt in 1914.  Excellent condition, all original with 95% or better high-gloss bluing having some minor speckling on slide and light holster wear. Barrel has some light pitting in the grooves but strong lands, with  sharp checkered double-diamond walnut grips.  Includes a really excellent two-toned 7-round lanyard-loop magazine. U.S.A. Model 1911 ARMY semiautomatic pistol # 74983 (.45 ACP), mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1914.  Good or better condition, with virtually no finish remaining, but very strong markings and a short, stubby Type 1 hammer.  Barrel has some light pitting in the grooves, slide has really well defined Springfield eagle and markings. Model 1911 ARMY semiautomatic pistol # 106208 (.45 ACP), mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1915.  Very Good or better condition, with dull blued finish a bit degraded from age and some light holster-wear.  Barrel has an excellent bore and is mirror bright, slide has really well defined Springfield eagle and markings. Model 1911 ARMY semiautomatic "lunchbox special" pistol  (.45 ACP) with no serial number, mfg. by Remington UMC in 1918-1919.  Very Good or so condition, with usual poor finish but very little actual wear. Likely spirited away part by part and assembled outside the factory (a well-known situation at that facility).  No military inspection marks. Barrel has an excellent bore and is mostly bright. Model 1911A1 ARMY semiautomatic pistol # X2687 (.45 ACP), mfg. by Colt after 1924.  Excellent-PLUS condition, these X prefix pistols were renumbered when their original serial numbers were either defaced, obliterated, are were too light to read during rebuilding or refinishing. Slide appears to be in NEW condition, frame has been arsenal-refinished and has high-gloss bluing.  Bore is worn and not too bright, has really sharp checkered walnut grips.  Includes excellent two-toned 7-round magazine. Model 1911A1 Government Model semiautomatic pistol # C164225 (.45 ACP), mfg. by Colt in 1932.  Good condition, very little original finish remaining.  Has Chinese characters and number 1577 on front of grip, 1577 also stamped on right side of slide. Bore is razor-sharp and mirror-bright.  Has the look of having been carried much (in all kinds of weather) but shot very little (if at all).
