AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action carbine 5185C (8x50R) mfg. by Steyr in 1897. Near Excellent condition, original blued finish beginning to turn brown from age.  Bore is very strong and mostly bright, bolt not numbered. Stock is very pretty with very few minor handling marks.  Not import-marked, in its original caliber. PHOTOS . . . $650.      Antique, no FFL required  

BULGARIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action carbine # 1002B (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1904. Excellent condition, some bluing remaining. Bore is very strong but not very bright. Bolt is stamped 1002 (matching), right side of stock stamped 1002.  Not import-marked, includes military leather & fabric sling that I am unfamiliar with.  Very attractive.  PHOTOS . . . $475.     C&R     SOLD

COLOMBIAN Model 47 bolt-action rifle # 0883-58 (.30-06),  mfg. by Madsen in 1958.   Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% original black-painted finish, bore is mirror-perfect.  Stock has a few small dings but no apparent wear. This was the last military bolt-action designed for general use (complete with very effective muzzle-break and recoil-pad), not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $950.      C&R     SOLD

CZECH Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action carbine # 5305 (8x56R) mfg. by Brno in 1920. Excellent condition, original finish with full bluing, ČS. ST. ZBROJOVKA BRNO atop chamber. Bore is very strong and very bright. top of bolt inscribed 5305,  stock numbered 5305 on right side.  Buttstock has straight grain with very few handling marks, arsenal patch where sling swivel was on bottom.  Very rare, one of only 5000 produced. FINN Model 28-30 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 36607 (7.62x54R) NO MAKER, NO DATE on barrel-shank, built on a uncertain hex receiver.  Excellent-PLUS, literally UNISSUED  condition, with full bluing, bolt-knob stamped 6607 (matching), magazine floorplate & buttplate scrubbed.  Absolutely NO sign of wear, with a perfect mirror-bright bore and perfect prewar wood stock. Very rare in ANY condition, absolutely gorgeous and worthy of the finest collection. PHOTOS  . . . $1950.     C&R  

SWEDISH Model 94 bolt-action Mauser carbine # 93026 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1917.   Excellent condition, about 95% or better external bluing with near-perfect mirror-bore.  All-matching serial numbers including barrel-bands. Nice beech buttstock and handguard with a few handling-marks. Has muzzle extension, brass unit-disk and range chart set on right side,   Not import-marked, scarce without bayonet-lug.  PHOTO . . . $1450.     C&R   SOLD

SWEDISH Model 94/14 bolt-action Mauser carbine # 66497 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1916. Excellent condition, about 95% or better external bluing with near-perfect mirror-bore.  All-matching serial numbers except barrel-bands. Nice beech buttstock and handguard with very few handling-marks, has attached leather sling-buckle in right side, no unit disk.  No muzzle extension (never had one). Not import-marked. SWEDISH Model CG63 Mauser bolt-action TARGET rifle # 137845 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1903 and converted to the match configuration at Carl Gustaf in 1964. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% bluing, all visible serial numbers matching.  Near perfect, mirror bore, has a Lyman rear aperture sight and a aperture front sight that takes different target inserts. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 885121 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1919 with January 1928 dated Springfield barrel.  Excellent condition with 95% or better Parkerizing on all metal. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 1484924 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1935 with March 1937 dated Springfield barrel.  Near Excellent condition with 80% or better Parkerizing on all metal (wear only on magazine floorplate and triggerguard from carry). Excellent mirror-bright bore (TE = 1.0, MW = 1.0). Walnut stock has very few handling marks, clear SA / S.P.G. cartouche on left side (1940).   Missing rear barrel-band screw that holds front sling-swivel on, not import-marked. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 569953 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in April, 1942 with a SA 5-44 wartime barrel.  Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish, bore is bright (TE = 2.5, MW = 1.25) with very strong rifling, pad not chromed. Stock has faint SA / SHM cartouche (Stephen H. McGregor) indicating rebuild at Springfield between Oct. 1945 and Aug. 1947.  Stock i9s solid and sound with minimal scratches and dings. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 1194644 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in February, 1943 with a LMR 1-54 barrel.  A post WWII rebuild with all upgraded parts in Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish, bore is bright (TE = 2.0, MW = 1.0) with very strong rifling. Stock has some scratches and a ding on the left side, with a deep SA over E in box cartouche, indicating a rebuild at Springfield Armory sometime in the 1950's. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 2147639 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in November, 1943 with a SA 3-45 wartime barrel.  Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish, bore is bright (TE = 2.5, MW = 1.0) with very strong rifling, pad not chromed, chamber is bright. A early postwar Rock Island rebuild with mostly wartime parts. Stock has arsenal wood inserts in trigger guard area to tighten fit - typical of Rock Island workmanship.  Some dings and handling marks on wood. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 2433840 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in January, 1944 with a SA 7-45 wartime barrel.  Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish, bore is bright (TE = 2.0, MW = 3.0) with very strong rifling, pad not chromed. A postwar rebuild with typical mix of wartime and postwar parts. Stock is very dark walnut with numerous nicks and scratches from troop use.  Danish sticker (dated 18 Jan 1962) inside barrel groove indicates stock was in a rifle that was lend-lease and returned. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 3443038 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in January, 1945 with a SA 6-53 barrel.  Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish, bore is bright (TE = 3.5, MW = 2.0) with very strong rifling. A Korean War era rebuild at Raritan Arsenal with typical mix of wartime and postwar parts. Stock is very attractive walnut with a few dents, scrapes and dings from actual use and storage. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 5468196 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1954 with a LMR 4-54 barrel.  A Letterkenny Army Depot rebuild of a Korean War era rifle in Excellent-PLUS condition with full light gray Parkerized finish.  Bore is bright (TE = 1.75, MW = 1.0) with very strong rifling. Receiver is electro penciled (below wood) LEAD 7-66 in two lines. Stock is nicely figured birch and appears "as new" from rebuild with minimal scratches and dings. U.S.A. Model M1 Carbine semiautomatic rifle # 6234442 (.30 Carbine) mfg. by Inland (General Motors) in September 1944 with 9-44 dated  Inland barrel.  Excellent condition, metal has full Parkerized finish with a mirror bright bore and with 0.5 muzzle-wear.
