ALBANIAN Model SKS semiautomatic rifle # 03240-78 (7.62x39) mfg. at Umgramsh military arms factory in 1978. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% or better bluing on metal. All matching numbers, with near-perfect mirror chrome-lined bore. A clean example with a few dings and scratches on the stock from handling. Includes folding spike-bayonet but lacks cleaning rod. ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action rifle # U8371 (7.65x54) mfg. by DWM in 1900.  A "sporterized" example, the barrel and stock has been cut-down and the bolt bent. Excellent overall, with full bluing on most parts, receiver crest has been scrubbed (as usual). All matching numbers, short handguard, stock has a few handling-marks. CHINESE Model 30 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 89661 (8x57) mfg. by Fabrique Nationale (undated, but mid-1930's).  Very Good condition, bold FN in oval logo above chamber. No matching numbered parts, bore is strong if not very bright.  Stock is walnut with considerable handling marks, and Chinese cartouches on both sides.  Includes cleaning rod. Scarce. DANISH M1 Garand rifle # BMR 8140 (.30-06) mfg. by Breda Meccanica Romana in Italy in 1955.  Excellent-PLUS condition, receiver (marked with Danish crown over FKF at top rear) has nearly full light-gray Parkerizing, all small parts are Breda manufacture (BMR-marked) including the barrel. Bore is excellent and mirror-bright, buttstock and handguards Italian birch with virtually NONE of the expected handling-marks. Not import-marked, and worthy of the finest collection. FINN Model 96 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 499949 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1922 with [SA] Finn ownership stamp on receiver.  Near Excellent condition, about 85% external bluing with near-perfect mirror-bore (disk stamped 6.50 / 1), all-matching serial numbers. Nice Beech buttstock and handguard with a few handling-marks and dings from use. FRENCH Model 1936 MAS bolt-action rifle # FH89163 (7.5x54 MAS) mfg. by St. Ettienne. . Excellent-PLUS arsenal refurbished condition with full Parkerized finish on all metal and a nice wood stock (dent in right grip-channel). FRENCH Model 1936 MAS bolt-action rifle # N5506 (rechambered to .308 WIN by Century Arms) mfg. by St. Ettienne in 1947. Excellent condition with full Parkerized finish on all metal and a mirror-bright bore. No matching serial numbers, rear of receiver has been drilled & tapped and has an aftermarket scope-base installed. SKS-style trigger-block safety has been installed, no integral spike-bayonet. FRENCH Model 1949-56 MAS semiautomatic rifle # G3526 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in c.1963. Excellent condition, with all Parkerizing intact and very little signs of wear. Has great mirror-bright bore. Includes full compliment of accessories (blade-bayonet with scabbard, four ten-round magazines, rubber buttpad,  night sights and many more packaged accessories. GERMAN  Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 3833b (8x57) mfg. by Sauer & Son (code 147   1940) in 1940.  Very Good condition with 60% faded bluing. No matching serial numbers, Nazi markings have been heavily pinged (eradicated).  Not a Russian-capture. Bore is bright and strong, laminated stock has flat buttplate, and a sling-swivel was added to the bottom (now removed). Includes original front sight hood, but no cleaning rod. GERMAN  Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 6318 (8x57) mfg. by Brno (code dot 1944) in 1944.  An all-matching 98k in Excellent-PLUS condition with full bluing and clear (if tiny) Nazi markings.  Stock is laminate with a cupped buttplate, stamped triggerguard and magazine floorplate have no number but bear manufacturer's code qnw. GERMAN  Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 17703b (8x57) mfg. by Mauser (code svw MB) but French occupiers in late 1945.  A mismatched example of a very rare code, assembled from parts already produced under the Nazis. All Nazi markings intact and very strong. Near Excellent condition with full bluing and very strong and bright bore, byf makers-mark on barrel. Stock is laminate with a flat buttplate, has French auxiliary sling-slot on left side.  Includes cleaning rod. Very attractive, not import marked. PHOTO . . . $850.      C&R

INDIAN Enfield No.2A bolt-action rifle # A21624 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Ishapore Arsenal in 1965. Excellent condition, with painted enamel on metal. All matching serial numbers, bore is very bright and sharp. Stock has original finish with some contact marks, rear handguard has usual small dovetailed repair, "Ishie screw" present, another repair at heel of stock by buttplate. ISRAELI Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 372b (7.62 NATO) made from a shortened Gewehr 98 rifle mfg. by DWM in 1918. Very Good condition with no matching parts (bolt from FN-made Israeli 98k). Mostly full weathered bluing (with some "crusty" areas), bore is extremely strong and mirror-bright, Intact Imperial German and Israeli markings (including Star of David).  No cleaning rod (stock is not even routed to accept one), includes front sight hood. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 31, # 80095 (7.7x58) mfg. at Toyo Kogyo in c.1941. Excellent condition with full original bluing, no matching numbers,  INTACT MUM. This type has ladder rear sight with anti-aircraft wings, monopod (which is present), cleaning rod  and plum-shaped bolt handle with checkered safety knob. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 35 # 32736 (rechambered to .30-06) mfg. at Toyo Kogyo in c.1945. Excellent condition with full original bluing, bolt mismatched. Intact mum has been neatly X-ed through.  No cleaning rod (nor is there a provision for one), wood appears to have been ;lightly sanded. Excellent bore, no import-marks, functional. JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle Series 40 # 75046 (7.7x58) made at Jinsen Arsenal  (Inchon, Korea) in 1945. Excellent condition with original full bluing. A last-ditch rifle with fixed rear sight and no guards on front sight. cylindrical bolt-handle, welded safety and no provision for cleaning rod. Mum has been cancelled by two chisel-marks but is otherwise intact. All numbered parts stamped 046 (matching). Stock and short handguard has original (crappy) finish and has never been sanded. PORTUGUESE Model 904/39 Mauser-Verguiero bolt-action short rifle # A8895 (8x57) mfg. by DWM in 1904. Near Excellent condition with all-matching numbers (except buttstock, which never matches) and bold royal crest of King Carlos I above chamber and on right side of stock. Original blued finish with a nice mirror-bright bore, includes cleaning-rod. Stock has a few handling marked but is sound. Originally chambered in the obsolete 6.5x58 Verguiero cartridge, these rifles were rechambered to 8x57 in Germany just before WWII and have one of the smoothest actions of any military rifle. SPANISH Model FR-8 Mauser bolt-action tactical carbine # FR8-01685 (7.62x51) mfg. by La Coruņa in 1954. Excellent condition, with 95% Parkerized metal surfaces and a sharp mirror-bore. SWEDISH Model 96/38 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 207338 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1907 with bent bolt. Very Good condition, with 60% or better original bluing on all parts. U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3814081 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in March 1944. Excellent-PLUS condition with 99% or better gray Parkerizing on all metal. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 925204 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in October, 1942.  An all-correct WWII rifle in Excellent condition with full light gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, SA 9-42 bore is mirror-bright and quite strong (TE = 2.5, MW = 2.5) and all correct SA-marked parts with non-relieved op-rod and lock-bar rear sight. Walnut stock has SA / EMcF cartouche on left side and is in excellent condition with some of the expected handling marks from actual combat use.  Not import marked, really exceptional condition for a rifle that served in WWII. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 2447667 (.30-06) mfg. by Winchester in June, 1944 with a 6-44 original barrel.  Excellent condition, WWII CORRECT with full gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is mirror bright (TE = 2.5, MW = 1.0) with very strong rifling. All WRA parts with uncut op-rod and lock-bar rear sight. WRA / GHD cartouched Walnut stock and handguard has a some handling marks from actual use and storage, handguards may be later replacements but match up pretty well. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 3711022 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in March, 1945.  An all-correct WWII rifle with original SA 4-45 barrel in Excellent-PLUS condition with full light gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is mirror-bright and quite strong (TE = 1.5, MW = 0.9). Has all correct SA-marked parts with lock-bar rear sights and non-relieved op-rod. Walnut stock has faint NFR cartouche on left side and is in excellent condition with virtually no handling marks and original finish.  Not import marked, really exceptional condition.  PHOTOS . . . $2350.     C&R  

U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 5794170 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in January, 1955 with a SA 1-55 barrel.  Excellent-PLUS condition (a Greek lend-lease return) with full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is bright (TE = 2.0, MW = 1.0) with very strong rifling. Features all correct SA-marked postwar parts, stock is nearly pristine with sharp DoD (eagle above stars) cartouche. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 24/47 Mauser bolt-action rifle # Z4416 (8x57mm) mfg. c.1948 with bent bolt.
