    AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action infantry long rifle # 9806N (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1915. Excellent condition, arsenal refinished with full bluing. Bore is very strong and mostly bright. Blot electropenciled 9806 to match, wood has very few handling-marks. PHOTOS . . . $450.     C&R     SOLD

    BRITISH SMLE No.1 Mk.3* Enfield bolt-action rifle # 75826J (.303 British) mfg. by Ishapore in 1948.   Very Good condition, with mostly full blued finish. All matching serial numbers, bore is quite bright and strong (showing little if any actual use).     CANADIAN No.1 Mk.III* SMLE bolt-action rifle # G7374 (.303 British), a "peddled scheme" rifle mfg. by Standard Small Arms in 1917, Canadian property-mark (C enclosing broad arrow) atop chamber. Very Good condition with most oil-blacked finish remaining on external metal. Bore is very bright and strong, all matching numbers except rear sight-leaf.  Stock has very few handling-marks.     CZECH Model vz24 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # C5 2887 (8x57mm) mfg. by CZ in c.1937.  Good or better original condition, with very little bluing remaining. No matching serial numbers, top of chamber has very bold two-tailed rampant Czech lion. Bore is mostly bright and strong. Walnut stock has many scuffs and dents from actual use, bolt is from G29/40 with eagle/swastika on bolt-knob and WaA607 on bolt-handle. Includes cleaning rod but no front sight protector.     FINN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action infantry rifle # 11900 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by Tikka in 1940 on a 1904 Tula receiver. Excellent condition with full bluing on metal parts and a mirror- bright bore. Mismatched bolt, no other  matching numbered parts (as usual). Stock has really lovely glossy finish with olive-green military web-sling. Includes cleaning rod.  PHOTOS . . . $375.    C&R    SOLD

    FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 199105 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by Tula in 1937, Finnish property-mark [SA} on left side of barrel-shank, 41 on right side. Excellent condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror- bright bore. Bolt numbered 199105 (matching), no other  matching numbered parts (as usual). One-piece Soviet stock has a couple minor dings and handling marks, A. ASSINEN (a uniquely Finnish name) neatly carved in left forend groove. Includes cleaning rod and Soviet SVT-40 sling.     FRENCH Model 1949 MAS semiautomatic rifle # F19465 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in c.1952. Excellent-PLUS arsenal-refurbished condition, with all Parkerizing intact and virtually no signs of wear. Has great mirror-bright bore. Includes one ten-round magazine and new leather sling, no other accessories. Has functioning integral grenade launcher. Wood stock looks near perfect.     FRENCH Model 1949-56 MAS semiautomatic rifle # G26774 (7.5x54) manufactured at St. Etienne in c.1964. Excellent condition, with all Parkerizing intact and very little signs of wear. Has great mirror-bright bore. Includes most accessories (blade-bayonet with scabbard, three ten-round magazines,  night sights and many more packaged accessories.     HUNGARIAN Model 44 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # CA7346 (7.62x54R) mfg. by F.E.G. in 1953. Excellent (rearsenaled condition with full bluing remaining on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All parts elecropenciled to match, stock has handling marks but is sound. Includes Romanian maroon-leather sling and cleaning rod.. PHOTOS . . . $375.    C&R   SOLD

    JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle Series 6, # 44266 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in mid 1943. Excellent condition with nearly full original bluing (some minor areas of verdigris) and has very bright and strong chrome-lined bore. Mum lightly ground (much still visible), includes cleaning rod, no provision for monopod. Bolt (and all bolt parts) numbered 266. Stock has original fi9nish, with a few digs attesting to its use in actual combat. Not import-marked. PHOTO . . . $375.    C&R   SOLD

    POLISH Model 44 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # MK11065 (7.62x54R) mfg. at Radom in 1952. Good or better condition with 50% fading bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright strong bore. All matching except bolt, stock has some handling marks but no cracks. Includes leather sling from I don't know where. PHOTOS . . . $225.    C&R    SOLD

    RUSSIAN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 22817 (7.62x54R) mfg. in 1916 by Izhevsk. Very Good or better condition with most bluing remaining. A Balkan rifle with all numbers mismatched, eagles have been scrubbed. Bore is rough and dark with strong rifling, includes cleaning-rod. Stock has some of the expected handling marks and a leather sling. Very attractive.  PHOTOS . . . $325.   C&R   

    SOVIET Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 40720 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1925. Excellent-PLUS arsenal-refurbished  condition with hexagonal receiver. Full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror bright bore. All numbered parts stamped matching. Stock is birch and has very few (if any) handling marks, and is extremely attractive. Includes cleaning rod and military web-sling.  PHOTOS . . . $275.    C&R     SOLD

    SWEDISH Model 94/14 bolt-action Mauser carbine # 15860 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1903. Excellent condition, about 90% or better external bluing with near-perfect mirror-bore (disk reads 6.50/0), all-matching serial numbers including barrel-bands. Nice walnut buttstock and handguard with a few handling-marks and a dark area where brass-catcher was attached, has attached leather sling-buckle in right side,.  No muzzle extension (never had one).     TURKISH Model 38 bolt-action short rifle # 9687 (8x57mm), refurbished by K. KALE arsenal (Ankara) in 1945 with bent bolt having bottom of knob flattened. Excellent condition, with full bluing and a strong and bright bore. No matching serial numbers (usual for these). Walnut buttstock is very good looking. Scarce. PHOTOS . . . $325.      C&R   SOLD

    YUGOSLAVIAN Model 98/48 Mauser bolt-action rifle # B7397 (8x57), a reworked German 98k rifle, reblued with all Nazi markings removed and Yugoslav crest above chamber.  Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing, excellent mirror-bore (has a considerable amount of very sticky cosmoline throughout).
