ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action cavalry carbine # B6117 (7.65x53) mfg. by DWM in 1899.  Excellent condition, with 95% strong bluing and a very strong national crest above chamber. All-matching numbers (including stock), bore is strong and mirror bright. Original walnut stock has some subtle tiger-stripe figure and very few handling-marks. Not import-marked. BRITISH Pattern 14 bolt-action rifle # 526504 (.303 British) mfg. by Eddystone in 1916.  Very Good condition, a nice example with much Parkerizing intact and has a very bright and strong bore. Number stamped on bottom of bolt handle does not match receiver, volley-sights missing (as usual). Has original walnut stock with many of the expected handling-marks, unit disk not present. FINN Model 24 Mosin-Nagant "Lotta" bolt-action rifle # 14063 (7.62x54R) stepped barrel on a hex receiver. Near Excellent condition with 80% bluing. matching bolt, bore bright and strong (has been counterbored at muzzle), includes cleaning-rod and metal sling-swivels.  Three-piece Finn stock has many scuffs and scratches from actual use but is sound. FINN Model 91 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 7171 (7.62x54R) stepped barrel mfg. in 1927 by Tikka on a hex receiver. Excellent condition with 95% bluing. FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 31033 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1936, [SA] stamped on left side of barrel-shank. Good to Very Good condition with very little external bluing remaining on barreled receiver, nearly all bluing extant on triggerguard and magazine. Bore is quite bright and strong (is NOT counterbored at muzzle). Bolt-body matching barrel, remaining parts mismatched or scrubbed. Has hooded post front sight, one-piece Russian buttstock has quite a few scuffs and scratches from actual use, handguard is a Fiun Arctic birch replacement, includes cleaning rod and a reddish-brown leather (Romanian?) sling. FINN Model 28/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 58690 (7.62x54R), SK.Y-marked barrel mfg. in 1939 by Sako on a scrubbed hex receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% original bluing. Bolt-knob matching, bore is excellent and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 42350 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1941 by VKT on a hex receiver. Good to Very Good condition with nearly all bluing worn to gray. Numbers 2350 (matching) stamped on BOTH bolt-knob and magazine floorplate, full number 42350 stamped on bolt body.  Bore is mostly bright and strong, includes cleaning-rod. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 238105 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1942 by Sako on a hex receiver. Very Good condition with 70% bluing. Bolt-knob and magazine floorplate stamped 8105 to match, bore is mirror-bright and very strong, includes cleaning-rod and forest-green leather sling. FRENCH Modéle 1890MB Berthier bolt-action mousqueton  # F51688 (8x50R Lebel), mfg. by Saint Étienne in 1891.  Excellent condition, N-marked chamber, all-matching serial-numbers on all parts. Was reworked in Feb. 1920 to the M-16 configuration (added 5-shot magazine) with faint dated round cartouche on right side of stock. Bore is mirror bright and very strong, metal has full blued finish. Very few handling-marks on beech stock, small (1/2" long) hairline crack at tang.  A previous owner restored a brass-tipped cleaning rod to the left side (usually filled-in during the M-16 modification), fully functional. Not import-marked, extremely attractive.  PHOTOS . . . $425.    Antique, no FFL required    SOLD

FRENCH Modéle M-16 Berthier bolt-action mousqueton  # E99330 (8x50R Lebel), mfg. by Continsouza in 1917.  Very Good or better condition, N-marked chamber, triggerguard serial-numbered to barrel, nothing else is. Bore is amazingly bright and strong, metal has black enamel on exterior. A few handling-marks on stock but better than most, fully functional. Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $275.    C&R     SOLD

FRENCH Modéle 1886 M27 Lebel bolt-action PROTOTYPE rifle # 756 (7.5x54mm) mfg. by Tulle in 1933. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% external blued finish. All matching numbers including stock and forend (correct rear barrel-band stamped 413) with mirror-bright bore. This was a very short-lived attempt to convert the 1886 tube-loading Lebel rifle (using newly-built receivers) to a clip-fed rifle that utilized the "new" 7.5x54 rimless MAS cartridge. As this was extremely expensive to accomplish very few were produced. Stock has a couple gouges and scuffs but otherwise shows no actual wear. Includes correct black-leather sling.  Not import-marked, one of the rarest military rifles we have ever handled and in a condition that is worthy of the finest collection.   PHOTOS . . . $3750.     C&R    SOLD

FRENCH Modéle 1936 MAS bolt-action rifle # FH28855 (7.5x54) mfg. by St. Éttienne in September 1952. UNISSUED condition, NOT arsenal refurbished with 100% external phosphate finish. All matching numbers with shiny, bright bore and very bold cartouches on stock. A few minor scuffs on right side, includes integral spike-bayonet and correct sling.   PHOTOS . . . $395.   C&R   SOLD

GERMAN Model Gewehr 98 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 7647dd (8x57) mfg. by Mauser in 1916. Very Good condition, with 50% bluing (much of it fading or turning brown from 98 years of oxidation). Bold markings on receiver, has all-matching numbers and functional "roller coaster" type rear sight. Bore is very strong and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod. Buttstock and handguard are roughly finished but have subtle tiger-stripe figure and very few handling marks. JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action rifle no Series, # 984527 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1920. Very Good or better condition with mostly full original bluing (browning at bottom of action), has intact mum as well as bayonet with scabbard and leather frog. This type has ladder V-type rear sight and front sight without "ears", includes its original cleaning rod with a mismatched action cover and repro leather sling. Bolt, bolt parts and bayonet-lug not matching. Dark but strong bore, no import-marks, wood has original finish with considerable handling marks and heavy dings (including one on the left side of the fore-end that caused a 2" long diagonal crack). . JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle, Series 30, # 61433 (7.7x58) mfg. at Toyo Kogyo in c.1942. Excellent condition with nearly full original bluing and bright and strong chrome-lined bore.  Mum has been ground, all bolt parts and bayonet-lug numbered 433 to match receiver, has plum bolt handle but missing cleaning rod, front band-screw, magazine-spring and follower. RUSSIAN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 145082 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1934 on a hexagonal receiver and re-issued to the Soviet Ministry of Defense in 1949. Excellent arsenal-refurbished condition with 95% or better bluing on all metal parts. All-matching STAMPED numbers, dated 1934/49 with MO markings atop barrel-shank. Bore is mirror-bright (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle), rear sight markings highlighted by red paint. RUSSIAN Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # KT5214 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula  in 1954.   Excellent or better refurbished example with 100% blue (blade-bayonet blued, both bolt and bolt-carrier hard-chromed), bore mirror-bright and nearly perfect.  Shellacked solid wood buttstock has been renumbered to match during refurb. SWEDISH Model 94/14 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 8328 (6.5x55), mfg. by Mauser  in 1895 with bent-bolt.  Excellent condition, with 90% or better original bluing on all parts.  Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore, with the usual muzzle-extension that was requirted for importation into the USA until 1986.  All matching numbers (all parts stamped 328), has been fitted with a LYMAN peep aperture rear sight (attached to bolt-release lever, NOT the receiver, which is unscathed) and rear sight ladder is missing. The front sight has also been replaced with a taller blade to adjust zero (these were originally sighted in at 400 meters). Walnut stock with Beech handguard has a few handling marks and scratches, crack at butt on both sides from lower buttplate screw, sling-buckle not present. Not import-marked, rare this nice. It would not take much (a front sight, a rear sight ladder and a bolt-release) to restore this carbine to original condition, but it is a great ANTIQUE shooter as-is.  PHOTOS . . . $950.    Antique, no FFL required   SOLD

SWEDISH Model 38B Mauser bolt-action short-rifle # 648645 (6.5x55), mfg. by Husqvarna in 1942 with bent-bolt and threaded muzzle with aftermarket metal muzzle-cap.  Excellent condition, with 90% original bluing on all parts, bluing on magazine-floorplate and triggerguard browned from carry. Has a very bright and strong bore, stock-disk is two-screw brass unit type stamped GbK E No.243.  Rear sight has 100 meter zero. All-matching numbers, Beech stock & handguard seems to have its original; finish, with only a few handling-marks. U.S.A. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3217742 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in August 1942 with RA  8-42 dated barrel.  Excellent condition with 95% bluing, bore is strong and very bright (TE =2.0, MW = 2.0).
