GERMAN Model Gewehr 1871/84 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 8901 (11mm) mfg. by Spandfau in 1887 with 31 1/2" barrel.  An original Excellent-PLUS example, all-matching ser4ial numbers, full strong bluing with receiver "in the white" and a perfect mirror-bright bore.  Buttplate unit-marked 35.R.R.163. Buttstock has original finish with razor-sharp cartouches. Only a few scuffs in the wood and essentially AS ISSUED. Not import marked, rear barrel band loose. GERMAN Model Gewehr 88/15 bolt-action Commission rifle # 8746  (8x57mm) mfg. by Erfurt in 1891.  Excellent condition, full bluing (was reblued in 1914 when converted to modern loading not requiring a clip). Bolt (and all bolt parts) stamped 7950d, remainder of the parts have various serial numbers (as usual for these).  No Turk markings except numbers on rear sight have been removed and restamped with Arabic numerals, has S-marked bore (for use with modern ammunition). Nice strong and extremely shiny bore.  Buttstock is original walnut that has been chemically stripped (and possibly steam-cleaned) with virtually no handling marks or cracks. Front barrel-band unit-marked 68.R.4.117. on left side. Retains barrel-jacket and cleaning-rod as well as detachable rear sling swivel. cap on bottom of magazine-well has no markings. stamped.  Rifle is functional and I would not hesitate to shoot it with modern ammo. Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $425.    Antique, no FFL required     SOLD

GERMAN Gewehr 98 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 1346i (8x57mm), mfg. by C. G. Haenel in 1917. A Very Good condition rifle with no matching serial numbers, bore is strong but not very bright. Rear sight is of the grand-vizier "rollercoaster" type  that functions properly.Weimar markings on right side of receiver clear, includes cleaning rod. Stock looks a bit rough but has no cracks. GERMAN Gewehr 98 Mauser bolt-action rifle # 1447b (8x57mm), mfg. by Mauser in 1917 with 1920 stamp above. A 101 year-old WWI rifle in Good to Very Good condition with all matching serial numbers except for bolt, stock and barrel-bands. Bore is extremely strong and very bright. Weimar markings clear, includes cleaning rod with upgraded tangent rear sight. Stock does not appear to have been sanded with cartouches on right side and below grip quite clear. GERMAN Kar. 98 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 4018uu (8x57mm), mfg. by Erfurt in 1917.  Very Good or condition with all matching serial numbers. Bolt has bent-down handle and knob is flattened and checkered on the bottom. Bore is strong and very bright, Weimar markings on right side clear. GERMAN Model ES340 single-shot training rifle # 22846 (.22 Long Rifle), mfg, by Mauser Oberndorf in c.1924.  Near Excellent condition, small amount of wear by muzzle, else 90% finish. Matching numbered bolt, handsome walnut buttstock with a few scuffs on left side and large MAUSER cartouche on right side. 26" barrel, rear sight is military style and calibrated from 30-200 meters, rubber buttplate has MAUSER banner logo. GERMAN Standard Modell Mauser bolt-action rifle # B40975 (8x57mm), mfg. by Mauser in circa 1932 with MAUSER BANNER atop chamber.  Excellent-PLUS condition with full original bluing with all-milled parts and a flat buttplate. Appears to have all matching serial numbers, but I believe that the correct straight bolt has been numbered to match and am selling it as such. GERMAN Model K43 Walther semiautomatic rifle # 9475c (8x57) mfg. by Walther (code ac) in 1943.   Excellent condition, with an exceptional mirror-bore and is a fantastic, totally functional shooter.   Bolt-carrier stamped 5893 with aye-code K43 black-painted magazine, original sight-hood and cleaning-rod.  Laminated buttstock has cupped buttplate with very few dings and handling-marks, includes correct original sling. U.S.A. Model 1871 Springfield rolling block rifle (no serial number, chambered in .50-70) mfg. by Springfield Arsenal in 1872.  Excellent-PLUS, literally MUSEUM QUALITY condition with all metal except case-colored receiver "in the white" and extremely bright and shiny (and thus VERY difficult to photograph). Bore is bright and extremely strong. Walnut stock has faint boxed ESR cartouche on left side.  Includes leather military sling. Not import-marked, simply breathtaking. U.S.A. Model 1889 RAMROD-BAYONET Springfield trapdoor rifle # 517273 (.45-70) mfg. by Springfield Arsenal in 1891. Near Excellent condition with much external bluing remaining (breech-block has faint case-colors). Bore is bright and extremely strong. U.S.A. Model 1898 Krag-Jorgensen bolt-action infantry rifle # 192356 (.30-40 Krag) mfg. by Springfield Armory in April, 1899. Very Good condition with most bluing on all metal parts except receiver and bolt. Has very strong and mirror-bright 4-groove bore. Model 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 328778 (.30-06) mfg. by Rock Island Arsenal in 1918 (high-number) with SA 8-42 replacement barrel.  Very Good or better condition with most Parkerizing intact. Bore is extremely strong and mirror-bright (TE = 3.0, MW = 2.0). Walnut stock has a few scuffs from handling and a RIA cartouche on left side. U.S.A. Model of 1917 bolt-action infantry rifle # 429515 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in July 1919. Excellent condition with 90% or better Parkerized finish on metal and a miroor bright bore. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 1406625 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in March, 1943 with SA 2-43 original barrel and mostly correct as issued. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 312275 (.308 NATO) mfg. by Springfield Armory in August, 1941 with SA 9-65 replacement barrel. This is a pseudo-Navy NATIONAL MATCH rifle made from parts and chambered in 7.62 NATO (.308 Winchester).  Excellent condition with most Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is exceptional (TE = 1.0, MW = 1.0) and very bright. Features all SA-marked parts and hooded National match rear sight. ASTONISHINGLY BEAUTIFUL flame-figured buttstock, handguard has a couple of gashes but minimal handling-marks. Not import-marked. U.S.A. Model M1D Garand semiautomatic SNIPER rifle # 2096407 (.30-06)  mfg. by Springfield Armory in November 1943.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with SA 11-43 original barrel (throat-erosion 4.0). Has lock-bar rear sight and UNCUT op rod, includes prong-type Hart flash-hider, leather cheek-pad (MRT / 1-52), WWII era M1 leather-sling, and M10 cleaning-kit in butt-trap. Bedding of metal to wood is so good that it is difficult to remove the action. Walnut furniture is gorgeous with only a few minor dents and  scratches, bold SA / EMcF cartouche on left side.  M84 scope # 37795 has excellent optics.  PHOTOS . . . $3750.    C&R   SOLD
