    AUSTRIAN Model 1895 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action infantry steutzer carbine # 8169V (8x56R) mfg. by Steyr in 1917.  A rearsenaled shortened long rifle in Excellent condition with 98% or better bluing and a bolt that is electro-penciled to match. Bore is quite rough and dark, but light beech wood stock is extremely pretty with some minor handling marks and has been renumbered 8169 on right side to match rest of rifle.     CZECH Model vz52 semiautomatic rifle # E19844 (7.62x45) mfg. by CZ Bystrica in 1956. Very Good condition with much original Parkerized finish intact with a strong mostly bright bore. Includes folding bayonet and dual-purpose front sight hood.  Stock and handguard have the usual cracks on sides with an old repaired crack handguard, buttplate is from another rifle.     DUTCH Model 1895 Mannlicher bolt-action infantry rifle # 667J (6.5x53R) mfg. by Steyr in 1900. Very Good or so condition, with 60% bluing. No matching serial numbers, bore is rough and dark, but has strong rifling, some pitting on metal at wood-line. Buttstock and handguard is walnut in VG condition with some of the expected handling-marks and faint 1901-dated HEMBRUG cartouche on right side, two short hairline cracks at tang.     FINN Model 27 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 81024 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tikka in 1934. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 99% or so deep bluing on all external metal and a strong and mirror-bright bore (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). Bolt-knob stamped 1024 to match barrel, buttplate has stamped Finn unit-marking SAR4 / 1333 on top. Includes short cleaning rod and metal swivels. Stock has a few minor dings and compressions but is really nice for something made 80 years ago. PHOTOS . . . $575.    C&R     SOLD

    FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 240697 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1943 by SAKO on a hex receiver. Good to Very Good condition with little remaining external bluing. Bolt-knob stamped 0697 to match, bore is mostly bright and strong, includes cleaning-rod. Three-piece wartime stock has quite a few handling marks, hairline crack behind center of tang.     FRENCH Model 1886 M93 Lebel bolt-action infantry rifle # BC6939 (8x50R Lebel) mfg. by Châtellerault in 1892. Excellent condition with near-perfect mirror-bore (N-marked barrel and receiver). Metal has full oil-blacked finish, ALL-MATCHING serial numbers (rare for these). Wood has a few of the expected handling-marks. Rare, one of the nicest Lebels I think I have ever seen.     FRENCH Model 1890/16 MD Berthier bolt-action Cavalry Carbine # A10170 (8x50R Lebel), mfg. by Châtellerault in 1890 with correct bayonet and metal scabbard. Near Excellent condition, with 80-85% deep-black bluing (barrel-band and magazine turned brown).  All matching numbers, with a really nice mirror-bright bore. Has had all arsenal-upgrades (5-round magazine, filled-in cleaning-rod channel, N on receiver & barrel, and so on), barrel and buttstock both dated 1924 with clear cartouche in wood. Quite a few handling-marks and dings from adjacent rifles, but sound, includes correct brown-leather sling.  Scarce so nice and these are seldom anywhere close to matching.     FRENCH Model 45 MAS bolt-action training rifle # F17709 (.22 Long Rifle) manufactured at St. Etienne in c.1946. Excellent condition, with all Parkerizing intact and a mirror-bright bore, a couple handling marks on the stock. Includes one five-round magazine. PHOTOS  . . . $395.    C&R   SOLD

    IRISH Lee Enfield Carbine Mk. 1* serial # 5075B (.303 British) mfg. by Enfield in 1900 for the Royal Irish Constabulary. Very Good condition with mostly full finish and mostly bright and strong bore. No magazine cut-off or handguard, has 6-round magazine, bolt-handle numbered 5075 to match receiver and barrel. Forend of stock has been shortened with original front band attached, buttstock has what appears to be ivory diamond inlet into left side, March, 1904 dated brass unit-disk on right side along with other faint arsenal cartouches.     INDIAN Enfield No.2A bolt-action rifle # A28329 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Ishapore Arsenal in 1965.  Very Good condition, metal has most of its original blue remaining. All matching serial numbers except for nose-cap (11694), bore is bright and sharp.  No arsenal repairs to stock, includes proper Enfield olive-green web sling. *NOT* suitable for use with .308 Winchester ammunition. . .     ITALIAN Model 1891 Mannlicher-Carcano sporterized rifle # KN3888 (6.5x52) mfg. by Terni in 1903 with WWI Austrian capture marking AZF stamped on top flat of receiver. Very Good or better condition, bore is very bright and strong. Stock is numbered KN3888 to match both barrel and forend shortened with 1" crack at tang, circled PM branded into right side.     JAPANESE Type 38 Arisaka bolt-action infantry rifle, no Series, # 762430 (6.5x50) mfg. at Nagoya in c.1920. Excellent condition with nearly full original bluing (barrel-bands have little remaining blue, if they ever had any at all) and bright and strong bore. Mum is intact. Bolt (and all bolt parts) and even metal action-cover numbered 879 to match assembly number. Includes original cleaning rod, open V-type ladder rear sights and matching metal action-cover.     JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle Series 10, # 94242 (7.7x58) mfg. at Nagoya in late 1944. Excellent or better condition with most original finish intact. Bluing is thin and finish is poor, but this late in the war making pretty weapons was not a priority at all. Bore is quite bright and strong. Mum is intact. Has cylrindical bolt-handle with welded safety, bolt and all bolt parts numbered 242 to match receiver. No cleaning rod (never had one), buttplate is wooden. Some scratches in stock finish but is sound, Kanji character in circle above V023 painted on right side. Not import-marked. PHOTO . . . $475.    C&R

    JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle Series 20, # 11536 (7.7x58) mfg. at Kokura in late 1941. Excellent condition with all original bluing intact, bore is a bit dark with crud in the grooves (but looks like it would clean up well). Mum is intact. bolt and safety numbered 920 and have seen better days with as little pitting and surface erosion. Includes original cleaning rod and monopod, wood has its original finish and has not been sanded with a few of the expected dings from handling. Left side of front sight gas been struck by a .30 caliber bullet, not causing any sort of issue with the barrel, left "wing" of rear aircraft sight seems to have lost its tiny spring and flops open and the slightest encouragement.     JAPANESE Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action short rifle Series 33, # 98010 (7.7x58) mfg. at Toyo Kogyo in Early 1944. Excellent-PLUS condition with full original bluing, chrome-lined bore is strong and mirror-bright. Mum is intact. Has plum-shaped bolt-handle with welded and smoothed safety, all matching serial numbers. Missing cleaning rod, buttplate is wooden. Stock finish in original and intact, with a few minor handling marks and compressions and a small area on right side where some splinters were smoothed long ago. Not import-marked.     PAKISTANI Model No.4 Mk.2 Enfield bolt-action rifle # C02849 (.303 British) mfg. by Pakistan Ordnance Factory (POF) in 1957. Excellent condition, with full oil-blacked finish on the metal. Very little actual wear, all-matching numbers, with a mirror-perfect 5-groove bore and a 1-marked bolt-head. Wood has some handling-marks and storage-dings as well as rack-numbers stamped in the left side and a reinforcing screw in forend. PHOTOS . . . $425.    C&R

    PAKISTANI Model No.4 Mk.2 Enfield bolt-action rifle # C43831 (.303 British) mfg. by Pakistan Ordnance Factory (POF) in 1961. Excellent condition, with full oil-blacked finish on the metal. Very little actual wear, all-matching numbers, with a mirror-perfect 5-groove bore and a 2-marked bolt-head.     SOVIET Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle, ex-PU SNIPER (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk during WWII. Excellent arsenal-refurbished condition with a strong and bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All numbered matching, added scope-number on left side of barrel-shank.     SOVIET Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # PZ3137 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1941 on a round "high-wall" receiver and re-issued to the Soviet Ministry of Defense in 1942 & 1950 (triple-dated). Excellent arsenal-refurbished condition with 95% or better bluing on all metal parts. All-matching electro-penciled numbers, dated 1941/42/50 with two MO markings atop barrel-shank. Bore is mirror-bright (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). Buttstock has a few minor scuffs and compressions, with cleaning-rod and sling. PHOTOS . . . $250.    C&R

    SOVIET Model 44 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # HB5933 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Izhevsk in 1945. Excellent arsenal-refurbished condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All numbered parts stamped matching (original buttplate # has been lined out and re-stamped to match). Stock has 1.TRZ Yugoslavian rework marking on right side and a small repair on r. side at buttplate with very few handling marks since. An early Cole Dist. import with tiny import marks on bottom of bayonet-lug rather than the usual (ugly) "billboard" stamps on receiver. PHOTOS . . . $325.    C&R    

    U.S.A. Model of 1917 bolt-action infantry rifle # 276179 (.30-06) mfg. by Eddystone in January 1918. Excellent condition with 90% Parkerized finish on metal and a gorgeous mirror-bright bore (TE = 2.0, MW = 2.0), barrel stamped JA (Johnson Automatics) with no date. Stock has some handling marks and dings but is very attractive. Not import-marked. PHOTOS . . . $725.    C&R    SOLD

    YUGOSLAVIAN Model 1959/66 SKS semiautomatic rifle # I-305470 (7.62x39) mfg. by Zastava in 1972. Very Good condition, with 60% or so original external bluing, bore is slightly dark and grainy. Has ported grenade-launcher but no night-sights. Wood is beech and has seen actual service use, with some handling marks and rubber buttplate. Includes cleaning-rod but no other accessories.
