FINN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action infantry rifle # 9787 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1901 with [SA] Finn property mark on left side of barrel-shank.   Near Excellent condition with nearly full bluing on all metal parts and a very bright bore (has been counterbored at muzzle for accuracy).  Bolt body renumbered 9787 (matching). FINN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action infantry rifle # 39187 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Sestroryetsk in 1910 (date only visible underneath tang).  Excellent condition, with full bluing on all metal parts except bolt (of course), bore is extremely bright with strong rifling.  Bolt-body stamped 39187 (matching), remaining numbered parts scrubbed. FINN Model 91 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 28127 (7.62x54R) mfg. by New England Westinghouse in 1915 (scarce curved logo) with [SA] Finn property marking on left side of barrel-shank. Near Excellent condition, complete bluing remaining. Bolt-body stamped 8127 (matching), magazine floorplate and buttplate scrubbed (as usual). Bore is strong and mostly bright, has NOT been counterbored at muzzle. Russian one-piece stock has some dings and scratches but no other faults. FINN Model 91 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 651663 (7.62x54R) mfg. by New England Westinghouse in 1915 (straight logo) with [SA] Finn property marking on left side of barrel-shank. Very Good condition, about 70% bluing remaining. Bolt-body stamped 651663 (matching), magazine floorplate and buttplate not matching (as usual). Bore is strong but not very bright, has been counterbored at muzzle (for increased accuracy). Finn two-piece stock has many dings and scratches from service but no cracks. FINN Model 39 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 59184 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1943 by VKT on an hexagonal receiver.  Excellent or better condition with full bluing. Bolt-knob stamped 9184 (matching), magazine floorplate and buttplate scrubbed (as usual).  Bore is extremely bright and strong, includes cleaning-rod. Lovely figured postwar stock (squared finger joints) has only a few of the expected handling marks and the handguard has extremely attractive figure. The classic rarity in the series, with less than a dozen 1943-dated VKT Model 39 rifles known, lacking in even the most important museum collections. PHOTOS . . . $3,450.    C&R    SOLD

Bolt-knob stamped 7695 (matching). Bore is mirror-bright with perfect rifling (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Finn two-piece postwar stock (squared finger-joints) has a couple very light nicks from handling but is sound and looks as-new, 26 (!) small 1/4" plug repairs down left side. Includes cleaning rod. HUNGARIAN Model 44 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # BC4815 (7.62x54R) mfg. at Budapest in 1952.  Excellent-PLUS condition with perfect bluing and excellent bright bore (has been counterbored at muzzle to improve accuracy). All-matching serial numbers as-issued, all parts 02-marked, a few minor scrapes and scratches on wood from handling and storage. RUSSIAN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action infantry rifle # 84381 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Sestroryetsk in 1915. Near Excellent condition, with strong bluing on all metal parts except bolt (of course), bore is dark with strong rifling.  Bolt-body and buttplate both stamped 84381 (matching), magazine floorplate scrubbed. Stock has many handling marks in finish, the forend has a neat dovetailed repair that is typical of Balkan service.  Includes cleaning rod and olive-green web sling. PHOTOS . . . $525.    C&R 

RUSSIAN Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action infantry rifle # 23200 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Remington in 1918.  Very Good or so condition, with most bluing on all metal parts intact and a somewhat bright bore with strong rifling (NOT counterbored at muzzle). No matching serial numbers (likely saw Balkan service).  Stock is cracked at wrist in several places (easily repairable), no handguard. A good "project" rifle for a hobbyist. SOVIET Model 91/30 PU SNIPER Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # Ib1021 (7.62x54R), mfg. by Izhevsk in 1942.  Excellent-PLUS refurbished condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mirror-bright bore (NOT counterbored at muzzle). All serialized parts stamped matching without letter prefixes.  Scope and mount appear to be reproductions, mount electropenciled 1021, includes leather lens-caps.  Laminated stock and birch handguard has the inevitable minor scuffs in the shellac finish from use and storage, but is otherwise in nice shape and quite attractive. SOVIET Model 1891/59 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action carbine # 11246 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1935 with hexagonal receiver.   Excellent-PLUS refurbished  condition with full bluing on all metal parts and a mostly-bright bore (has NOT been counterbored at muzzle). Bolt numbered 11246, magazine floorplate and buttplate numbered 10074.  M38 stock (without bayonet groove on right side) has very minor marks in shellac from storage. Includes cleaning rod.
