BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.I Enfield bolt-action rifle #5C3514 (.303 British) mfg. by Savage-Stevens in 1941. Excellent, with 90% military phosphate external finish on metal and original birch furniture with grooved rear handguard. Has an excellent 5-groove bore, all-matching numbers (un-numbered magazine) with 0-marked bolt-head. All-early (non Mk.I*) features (including milled leaf rear sight), with all parts stamped with squared-S. South African property-marked (broad-arrow inside of large U) above chamber, U.S. PROPERTY stamped on side-rail. Wood has some minor scuffs and handling-marks but is quite attractive. BRITISH Enfield No.4 Mk.1 bolt-action rifle # M30627 (.303 British) mfg. by BSA Shirley in 1944 and has undergone Factory Thorough Repair in 1948. Very Good condition, with bright and strong 4-groove bore, 60% bluing on receiver and barrel, magazine and barrel-bands heavily browned from contact with sweaty palms. Bolt is matching, no other parts are numbered. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.I Enfield bolt-action rifle # PF56353 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in November 1948. Very Good condition, with 75% or better bluing. Bore is mirror-bright and very strong, has 2-marked bolt head. Bolt is force matched and is unusually numbered 56353 on TOP of the bolt, and the bottom of the magazine is also force-matche 56353, forend stamped PF56353. BRITISH Model P-14 Mk.I* "Enfield" bolt-action rifle # 131104 (.303 British) mfg. in the U.S.A. by Eddystone in mid 1916. Near Excellent, nearly full arsenal oil-blacking on metal, but much of the black-painted finish chipped off. Has a really gorgeous mirror bore. Wooden-plug on right side filling-in unit-disk hole, pointer from front volley-sight and rear volley-peep removed during Weedon refurbishing. Bolt numbered beneath handle to match. Wood is near excellent overall with some scuffs from handling and storage and wood all matching in color, has "Ishapore screw" in forend for strength. Arsenal-repair at top of heel. Bolt numbered F1054 (matching), magazine not matching. Has very strong but not very bright bore and 2-marked bolt-head. Stock is quite scuffed up with several gouges, forend a bit chipped. CZECH Model vz52 semiautomatic rifle # G68991 (7.62x45) mfg. by CZ Brno in 1956. Very Good condition with much original Parkerized finish intact and a slightly frosted but mostly bright bore. FINN Model 91 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 39078 (7.62x54R), barrel mfg. by Belgium in 1942. Near Excellent condition, with 90% or better bluing (no bluing at all on triggerguard). Bolt-knob numbered 6602 (matching). 120696 on right side of barrel-shank (indicating the Raahe civil guard district on the Western coast of Finland). Bore is extremely strong and mirror-bright (and NOT counterbored). Includes cleaning-rod, original wartime buttstock with faint SAKO wheel cartouche has some dings and compressions from adjacent rifles and sports a thick and sloppy shellac-like coating. FINN Model 39 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 506602 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1943 by SAKO on a post-1898 receiver with SK.Y civil-guard marking. Excellent condition with 100% bluing. Bolt-knob numbered 6602 (matching). S58665 on right side of barrel-shank (indicating the Suur Saimaa civil guard district in Southeastern Finland). Bore is extremely strong and mirror-bright (and NOT counterbored). Includes cleaning-rod, original buttstock with SAKO wheel cartouche has a few dings and a compression from adjacent rifles but is sound and very pretty. INDIAN Enfield No.2A1 bolt-action rifle # R2853 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Ishapore Arsenal in 1967. Near Excellent condition, with nearly full thick black enamel paint metal (chipping in some places). All matching serial numbers including back of magazine, bore is very bright and sharp. Stock has some dents and dings, rear handguard and heel has usual repairs, "Ishie screw" present. INDIAN Enfield No.4 Mk.1 bolt-action rifle # Z0141 (.303 British) originally mfg. by Savage in 1942, refurbished at Ishapore in 1966 andin the process the serial number on the lset side of the receiver and the US PROPERTY marking on the top-left of the bolt raceway were both ground off and renumbered on the right side of the chamber. Back of bolt handle also numbered Z0141. Excellent condition, with 90% or better enamel surfaces and mirror-bright strong 4-groove bore. Features ladder rear sight, wood has very few dings with repairs to both toe and heel and has "Ishapopre screw" in forend. A very unusual example (the very first I have ever encountered). ITALIAN Model BM59 semiautomatic rifle # 0091 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Beretta in the early 1960's as a selective fire weapon based on the M1 Garand, and rebuilt by James River Armory. Excellent-PLUS condition, with perfect Parkerized finish and mirror-perfect bore. Has winter trigger (a small lever so one can pull the trigger with a gloved hand) installed. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 28962 (6.5x55), mfg. by Waffenfabrik Mauser in 1899 with straight-bolt and threaded muzzle.
