ALBANIAN Model SKS semiautomatic rifle # 09564-71 (7.62x39) mfg. at Umgramsh military arms factory in 1971. Near Excellent condition, with 80% or better bluing on metal (wear evident only on corners and sharp edges). All matching numbers, with near-perfect mirror chrome-lined bore. A clean example with a few dings and scratches on the stock from handling. Includes folding trifoil spike-bayonet and cleaning rod as well as web sling. PHOTOS . . . $525.    C&R   SOLD

ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # S1807 (7.65x54) mfg. by DWM in 1899. UNISSUED, with nearly 100% original bluing, national crest above chamber has been scrubbed (as usual). All parts numbered to receiver (including stock and cleaning-rod). Bore is excellent and extremely bright with very strong rifling. Stock has original finish with some small dings and minor handling marks and a small dished-out area where the small cartouche of the Argentine crest was removed on the right side. ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action cavalry carbine # C0588 (7.65x54) mfg. by DWM in 1899. Very Good PLUS with 80% or better original bluing, national crest above chamber very bold. All parts numbered to receiver (including stock). Bore is excellent and extremely bright with very strong rifling. Nicely figured stock has original finish with some scrapes and other minor handling marks. PHOTOS . . . $525.      C&R   SOLD

ARGENTINE Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action rifle #N1763 (7.65x53) mfg. by DWM in c. 1914.   UNISSUED, with nearly 100% original bluing (receiver in the white as is proper for these). Bore is mirror-perfect, Argentine crest is extremely bold and beautiful.  All-matching numbers (including wood, cleaning-rod and muzzle-cap).  Gorgeous reddish-walnut stock that has never been sanded with intact cartouche on right side, a couple very minor scuffs from contact with adjacent rifles during normal storage & handling through the years.  Includes brass and steel muzzle-cap and correct green-leather sling also in new condition.  This rifle very simply looks NEW rather than 86+ years old, of the absolute highest prewar workmanship and quality.  Not import-marked, UNIMPROVABLE!  PHOTOS . . . $975.   C&R

(Rosario) in 1950.  An Excellent example, with 95% bluing on all metal, receiver in the white, Argentine crest above chamber. AUSTRALIAN No. 1 Mk. III* bolt-action rifle # E12486 (.303 British) mfg. by Lithgow Arsenal and dated 1943.  Near Excellent condition with mostly full oil-blacked finish and bright and strong bore. All matching serial numbers, buttstock and handguards have some handling marks and scuffs from actual use, clear cartouches on right side of butt. BRITISH Enfield No.4 (T) SNIPER bolt-action rifle # G35395 (.303 British) mfg. by BSA Shirley arsenal in 1944, with matching No.32 scope and wooden transit-case.  A Genuine WWII-era sniper rifle in overall Excellent condition, with nearly full stoving finish on all major parts and a very bright and strong bore. Nice original walnut buttstock (with added wooden cheek-piece) and forend numbered to rifle, both butt and forend stamped S51 (Holland & Holland), top of butt stamped 5661 (matching number on scope). Stock has almost zero handling marks, includes proper leather sling. Transit case is for .22 Caliber trainer but is otherwise identical to that used for No.4 (T) snipers, scope has leather lens caps but lacks metal case. Not import-marked. CANADIAN Enfield C No.4 Mk.I* bolt-action rifle # 95L1530 (.303 British) mfg. by Long Branch arsenal in 1950. Excellent condition, with 95% or more original bluing on all metal parts with an excellent mirror-bright bore and a 4-groove barrel. Bolt and magazine matches receiver with 1-marked bolt head. FINN Model 91/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 71257 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1944 by Tikka on a round receiver. Excellent-PLUS condition with full original bluing remaining. Bolt-knob stamped 1257, bore is mirror-bright and very strong, includes cleaning-rod. Two-piece "potbelly" birch stock looks new with a dings and handling-marks. PHOTOS . . . $350.    C&R    SOLD

ISRAELI Model 98k bolt-action rifle # 4218r (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Mauser in 1942.  Very Good condition, with most bluing on metal surfaces, small parts turning brown with age. Bolt is mismatched, all milled parts, Nazi swastika on receiver has been obliterated.  Bore is mostly bright and strong. Laminated 7.62-marked buttstock has quite a few handling-marks, scratches and dings from actual use. NAZI Model 98k bolt-action rifle # 1933b (8x57) mfg. by Sauer & Son in 1941.  Very Good condition, with most bluing on metal surfaces, small parts turning brown with age. Bolt is mismatched, but front band, bolt-release lever, triggerguard & magazine floorplate all numbered 1933. All milled parts, bore is mostly bright and strong. PERSIAN Model 98/29 rifle # Y4029 (8x57) mfg. by Brno in 1939. Excellent condition, with all-matching serial numbers. Nearly 100% bluing with a mirror-perfect bore, wood is walnut with a gorgeous furniture-type finish and a very few handling marks from contact with adjacent rifles. Includes repro 98k leather sling (for some unknown reason) and non-matching 98/29 bayonet and scabbard in decent shape.  PHOTOS . . . $650.   C&R    SOLD

SOVIET Model SVT-40 Tokarev semiautomatic rifle # LD2909 (7.62x54R), mfg. at Kovrov in 1941. Excellent arsenal-refurbished with 100% bluing and plum-hued bolt. Has a strong mostly bright bore, receiver is not grooved for scope-mount, features 4-slotted muzzle-break. Stock and handguard has very few handling marks with small arsenal repair on right side next to triggerguard (almost unnoticeable). Includes cleaning-rod, 10-round magazine and Russian Mosin Nagant web sling as well as arsenal-refurbished  SVT-40 bayonet and scabbard. Quite attractive. PHOTOS . . . $1425.     C&R   SOLD

SWEDISH Model 94/14 bolt-action Mauser carbine # 29763 (6.5x55) mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1904. Excellent condition, about 95% external bluing with near-perfect mirror-bore, all-matching numbers including barrel-bands. Nice walnut buttstock and handguard with a few handling-marks.  Has muzzle extension (added to able importation before 1986) with original leather sling with buckle. Not import-marked. SWEDISH Model 96B Mauser bolt-action rifle # 36277 (6.5x55), mfg. by Mauser Oberndorf  in 1900 with straight bolt and threaded muzzle covered by aftermarket muzzle-break.  Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing on all parts (triggerguard shows more wear from carry). Has very strong markings and a very bright and strong bore (disk marked 6.50/0).  All matching numbers except rear barrel-band and rear sight with unnumbered cleaning rod. SWEDISH Model 41B SNIPER Mauser bolt-action rifle # 249334 (6.5x55), mfg. by Carl Gustaf in 1909.  Excellent condition, with 90+% original bluing on all parts (some minor spotting on magazine-floorplate and triggerguard from actual use). All matching numbers (334, very unusual for these snipers, but upper scope mount NOT matching (#101512). Ajack 4x90 scope has very clear optics and rubber lens-covers but lacks metal scope-can. Has a very bright and strong bore (bore-disc indicating 6.51/1).   Lovely walnut  stock & handguard has only a few minor handling-marks, scratches and compressions. U.S.A. Model of 1917 bolt-action infantry rifle # 398101 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in early 1918. Near Excellent condition with 90% Parkerized finish on metal and a gorgeous mirror-bright bore (TE = 2.0, MW = 1.0), barrel stamped JA (Johnson Automatics) with no date. U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 1586242 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in September, 1943.  Near Excellent condition with most gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is mirror-bright and very strong (TE = 4, MW = 2.5). Has all SA-marked parts. Walnut stock has eagle / stars ordnance cartouche on left side and some dings and other handling marks.  Includes AFH 1942 cut-down bayonet with scabbard.
