    ALBANIAN Model SKS semiautomatic rifle # 01470-68 (7.62x39) mfg. at Umgramsh military arms factory in 1968. Excellent condition, with 95% or better bluing on metal. All matching numbers, with near-perfect mirror chrome-lined bore. A clean example with many dings and scratches on the stock from handling. Includes folding spike-bayonet and cleaning rod.     BRITISH Lee Metford Mark I* bolt-action rifle # 17068 (.303 British) mfg. by London Small Arms in 1892 with Cape Government (South Africa) markings above chamber. Very Good or better condition with around 80% external bluing and a mostly bright and strong bore. Bolt mismatched (as usual), has sliding dust-cover, both volley sights on left side intact, with magazine cut-off and the usually-missing original cleaning rod. C G stamped above chamber.  Stock is sound with some handling marks but original finish, forend has some vivid tigerstripe figureRare and quite a handsome example.  PHOTOS . . . $1750.   Antique, no FFL required   SOLD

    BRITISH SMLE No.1 Mk.III* Enfield bolt-action rifle # P40021 (.303 British) mfg. by London Small Arms in 1918 with FTR markings.  Near Excellent with most oil-blackened finish remaining, all matching serial numbers. Bore is mirror-bright and very strong (has replacement 1941-dated barrel), decent walnut stock and handguards are sound with a few old dings and knocks and undated web sling.     BRITISH Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # AA6810 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in May 1947. Very Good condition, with 70% phosphate finish. Bolt numbered to receiver, magazine numbered but not matching. Has very strong and bright 5-groove bore and 2-marked bolt-head. Some minopr handling marks on stock, rubber butt-pad somewhat hardened.     COLOMBIAN Model 1950 Mauser bolt-action carbine # 281 (7.62x51 NATO) made by Fabrique National. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 98% or better bluing on all metal parts and very little apparent wear. Has no receiver markings and a very bright and strong bore. Matching bolt (no other parts are numbered on these), walnut stock & handguard has original finish with some handling marks. Includes cleaning rod and original leather sling. These are commonly attributed to MOROCCO for some reason, but many I have seen have Hispanic names scratched into the stocks and many ex-Colombian military veterans have identified rifles that they were actually issued while in the Colombian Army.     FINN Model 28/30 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 50806 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1937 by SAKO with SK.Y civil-guard marking, S15390 Civil Guard district (Salo) on right side of barrel-shank. Very Good condition with 80% fading bluing. Bolt-knob numbered 0806 (matching), bore is strong and bright (and NOT counterbored). Includes cleaning-rod.     FINN Model 39 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 301839 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. by SAKO in 1968 with hexagonal receiver. Excellent condition, nearly all bluing remaining with strong markings. Bolt-knob stamped 1839 (matching). Bore is mirror-bright with strong rifling (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Finn two-piece post-war stock (squared finger-joints) has only a very few dings.     GERMAN Model Gewehr 98 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 7136 (8x57) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Mauser in 1902. Very Good condition, with 50% bluing (much of it fading or turning brown from 112 years of oxidation), receiver finished "in the white" as is correct. Bold markings on receiver, matching bolt (triggerguard and magazine floorplate numbers lined out and restamped to match) and functional "roller coaster" type rear sight. S-marked bore is very strong and mirror-bright, includes cleaning-rod. Buttstock and handguard are from Model 1909 Argentine Mauser as the original wood was likely sporterized with very few handling marks.     INDIAN No.1 Mk.3* bolt-action rifle # 38033X (.303 British) refurbished by by Ishapore Rifle Factory in 1950 to a grenade-launching configuration with wire-wrapped forend.  Very Good condition with mirror bright and strong bore. All parts matching receiver, original manufacture markings scrubbed from right side of receiver. Only a few of the expected handling-marks and compressions on wood.  PHOTOS . . . $295.    C&R   SOLD

    ISRAELI Model 98k bolt-action rifle # 588990 (7.62x51 NATO) mfg. by Fabrique National in 1954.  Very Good condition, with mottled bluing on metal surfaces, small parts turning brown with age. Bolt is mismatched, barrel-bands milled, remaining small parts are stamped with lasrge "winter" trigger-guard.  Bore is mirror-bright with permanently-attached front sight-hood, bold Israeli IDF crest above chamber. Beech 7.62-marked buttstock has quite a few handling-marks, scratches and dings from actual use but is sound. No cleaning-rod (stock was not ever routed out to accept one), buttplate rusty.  PHOTOS . . . $395.    C&R    SOLD

    ITALIAN Model 41 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action infantry rifle # BF1482 (6.5 Carcano) mfg. by Terni in c.1943-4 with correct bayonet marked C. ENUTTI 1941. Excellent condition, metal has full original bluing and a gorgeous, mirror-bright bore. Buttstock serial number matches receiver with FAT 1947 cartouche and has very few handling marks. Includes cleaning rod, bayonet has leather and steel scabbard and correct green leather frog.  Very attractive, not import-marked other than MADE ITALY stamp on barrel shank.     POLISH Model K29 Mauser bolt-action short rifle # 1624d (8x57) mfg. by Radom in 1930.  Very Good condition, bold crest atop chamber. A Spanish Civil War carbine with unnumbered (but correct) bent bolt. Bore is mirror-bright with strong rifling.     RUSSIAN Model 1891 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 179987 (7.62x54R) mfg. by Tula in 1915 with Peter The Great barrel marking. Very Good condition, a Balkan rework with 70% or better bluing, eagles on barrel and receiver have been scrubbed. Bolt not matching, magazine floorplate and buttplate is matching.     SOVIET Model 91/30 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 757 (7.62x54R) mfg. in 1936 by Izhevsk. Excellent arsenal refurbished condition with 95% bluing. All matching stamped serial numbers, bore is strong and bright (and NOT counterbored). Includes cleaning-rod. Stock has original finish with the expected minor dings and scrapes from storage.     SWISS Model K-31 Schmidt-Rubin short rifle # 223306 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1954. All-matching numbers. Very Good condition with 75% bluing remaining and a near-perfect mirror-bore. V 44 dated  walnut stock and handguard has original finish with some of the usual scuffs and handling marks.     U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3852299 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in June 1943 with original  R 6-43 dated barrel.  Excellent condition with nearly all remaining metal finish remaining. Has an exceptional bore (TE = 1.5, MW = 0.5) with front sight hood. Walnut stock has very few handling marks with very crisp and bold FJA and ordnance wheel cartouches as well as Rock Island Arsenal inspection cartouches consisting of boxed RIA / FR and RIA / EB cartouches (all on left side of stock).     U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 825936 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in September, 1942 with original SA 9-42 barrel. A very well done restoration in Excellent condition with most Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is bright (TE = 4.0, MW = 4.0) with very strong rifling. Features all early SA marked parts, op-rod has been modified. Sound walnut stock with very sharp (repro) SA / EMcF cartouche. Bright chamber, some minor scrapes and scratches in the wood.     U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 1533837 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in April, 1943 with Danish VAR 4-61 replacement barrel. Excellent condition with most Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is quite nice (TE = 1.5, ME = less than 1.0). A Danish lend-lease Garand that was rebuilt, rebarreled and fitted with upgraded parts in the mid 1960's, has all SA parts except for BMB (Brescia) hammer and safety. Has nice USGI Birch stock set. Not import marked. The Danish VAR barrels are some of the best and most accurate ever produced for the M1 Garand! The Danish Garand I purchased from the CMP some 12 years ago (with a VAR barrel) looks like a total piece of crap, but is SERIOUSLY the most accurate Garand I have personally ever fired.  Includes CMP certificate of authenticity  and data-sheet.     U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 3435745 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in January, 1945, an Ogden Arsenal rebuild with SA 1-46 barrel. Excellent condition with most Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is mirror-bright and very strong (TE = 1.75, MW = 0.75). Has all SA-marked parts except for WRA trigger-group.     U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 3502423 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in March, 1945 with replacement SA 4-51 barrel. A very early Letterkenney Army Depot rebuild in Excellent condition with full light gray Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is mirror-bright and very strong (TE = 1.5, MW = 1.0).     U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 4767434 (.30-06) mfg. by Harrington & Richardson in May 1954 with HRA 5-54 barrel.  Excellent-PLUS condition and correct with full Parkerized finish remaining on all metal and having an exceptional bore (TE = 1.0, MW = 0.0). A correct-grade CMP Garand with all original HRA parts correct as it left the factory, very desirable and scarce 4.7 million serial number. Has walnut buttstock with faint DOD (stars over eagle) cartouche on left side and very few scratches and handling marks. Not import-marked,  with CMP certificate of authenticity  and data-sheet.     U.S.A. Model M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle # 5933387 (.30-06) mfg. by Springfield Armory in October, 1955 with original SA 10-55 barrel. An all-correct as issued postwar Garand in Excellent condition with most Parkerized finish remaining on all metal, bore is mirror-bright and very strong (TE = less than 1.5, MW = 0.75). Walnut stock-set has crisp eagle / stars cartouche on left side, a few handling marks from storage.     YUGOSLAVIAN Model 1959/66 SKS semiautomatic rifle # S-668357 (7.62x39) mfg. by Zastava in December 1982. Literally UNISSUED condition with much remaining sticky cosmoline which has not been removed (bits of white paper stuck to muzzle). Has grenade-launcher and night-sights. Wood is dense teak with only a few (if any) minor handling marks. All matching serial numbers, includes cleaning-rod and ammo pouch containing many accessories, as well as the ORIGINAL LOG BOOK (in excellent condition) numbered to this rifle and showing that it was inspected in June 1985 and May 1995.
