AUSTRIAN Model 1890 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action infantry rifle # 9496D (8x50R) mfg. by Steyr in 1892. Excellent condition, with 98% or better bluing, a few areas of blotchy areas where the bluing has been removed scattered around. Bore is very bright and strong, none of the small parts bear a serial number.  Stock has very few handling-marks, includes leather sling stamped STOLLA WIEN.  Not import-marked, considerably better than the best I have ever encountered. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.2 Lee-Enfield bolt-action rifle # PF330932 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in November 1954.   Near Excellent condition, an all-original rifle with 85% original painted finish, bolt, forend and bottom of magazine stamped PF330932 (matching).  Bore is mirror-bright and extremely strong. BRITISH Model No.4 Mk.2 Lee-Enfield bolt-action rifle # A5537 (.303 British) mfg. by Fazakerly in 1955.   Excellent-PLUS condition, an all-original rifle with over 99% original painted finish, bolt, forend and bottom of magazine stamped A5537 (matching).  Bore is mirror-bright and extremely strong. BRITISH Model No.5 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action "Jungle Carbine" # V6786 (.303 British) mfg. at Fazakerly in April, 1946. Very Good condition, with 70% blued finish turning brown (some roughness on exposed barrel). Bolt and forend numbered to receiver, magazine not matching. BULGARIAN Model 1895/34 Mannlicher straight-pull bolt-action carbine (shortened infantry rifle) # 4903M (8x56R) mfg. by Femaru Fegever (FÉG) in 1909. Excellent condition, arsenal refinished with 100% or better bluing, Bulgarian crest (rampant lion in shield) has been removed from top of receiver for some unknown reason, BUDAPEST 1909 remains on left side rail.  Bore is mirror bright and very strong. CHINESE Model NHM-91 semiautomatic rifle # 94-03249 (7.62x39) mfg. by Norinco in 1994 with long thick RPK-style barrel. As NEW condition (with excellent original box & manual), test-fired only, with fixed thumbhole-type buttstock and one 5-round magazine as issued (all AK47 magazines function in this rifle). FINN Model 28/30 Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifle # 36198 (7.62x54R) barrel mfg. in 1934 by SAKO on a post-1898 receiver with SK.Y civil-guard marking. Excellent condition with 98% bluing. Bolt body numbered 36198 (matching) and on the right side of barrel-shank is stamped S5981, which is the Guard district for Raasepori (aka Raceborg), a town in South Western Finland. Bore is mirror-bright and strong (NOT counterbored at muzzle).  Includes cleaning-rod and web sling. One-piece Finn stock has only a few dents on the bottom, otherwise very few handling marks from use and quite attractive. Scarce. PHOTOS . . . $975.     C&R    SOLD

FINN Model 38 Mannlicher-Carcano bolt-action short rifle # F8667 (7.35x53 Carcano) mfg. by Terni in 1939 with [SA] Finn marking and crossed-rifles accuracy stamp left side of barrel-shank. Excellent or better condition with 95%+ original bluing on on metal parts.  Bore is mirror bright and strong. Beech buttstock is boldly numbered E2709 (not matching) and has very few handling marks, with strong 1939-dated Terni cartouche. Not import-marked, quite attractive. PHOTOS . . . $425.    C&R     SOLD

FINN Model 39 Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle # 48978 (7.62x54R), barrel by FN  in 1942.  Excellent-PLUS condition, with full original bluing on all parts (barrel has a vivid plum hue) and very strong markings. Bolt-knob numbered 8978 (matching) Bore is mirror-bright with perfect rifling (NOT counterbored at muzzle). Finn three-piece postwar stock (squared finger-joints) has zero handling marks and looks unissued. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 2071 (8x57mm) mfg. by Sauer & Son (blank receiver with e/359 proof) in 1939.  Very Good to Excellent condition, matching bolt (and all bolt parts as well as rear sight), remainder of rifle consists of parts from a number of various rifles. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 7570y (8x57mm) mfg. by Mauser (code 42) in 1940.  This rifle looks fantastic, an all-matching rifle in Excellent-PLUS condition.  Or is it?  This is actually a Russian reworked rifle that has been expertly restored by James River Armory, with all metal parts refinished and renumbered to match the receiver. Bore is quite bright and strong, all Nazi eagles with swastikas intact on barrel and receiver (and have NOT been restored). There are reproduction Army cartouches on the right side of the stock, original bolt disassembly lug numbered O. 34414 for the Eastern Navy Fleet. GERMAN Model 98k Mauser bolt-action rifle # 5438s (8x57mm) mfg. by Steyr-Daimler-Puch (code bnz 42) in 1942.  Excellent condition, with full bluing, an mostly matching rifle except bolt and barrel bands.  Large Nazi eagle with swastika intact on receiver. This is apparently a Yugoslavian capture, left side of stock numbered 5438 (matching), bottom of stock has original Nazi markings (including serial number 5438), right side of receiver numbered S5438 in the Yugo fashion. Buttplate deeply stamped E-21578 (matching), no other parts numbered.   Bore is very bright and strong. Two-piece wood has some dings and bangs from contact with other rifles but is otherwise sound.  An unusual milsurp rifle that uses 1895 en-bloc clips and Mannlicher-style rotating straight bolt. HUNGARIAN Model 43M Huzagol bolt-action Mannlicher rifle # B-6024 (8x57 mm) mfg. by Femaru Fegever (FÉG) in 1944.  Excellent condition, with 95% original bluing. Bolt numbered 9017A, bore is very bright and strong. Two-piece wood has some dings and bangs from contact with other rifles but is otherwise sound.  An unusual milsurp rifle with Mauser-style magazine and Mannlicher-style rotating bent bolt (the bottom of the bolt-knob flattened and checkered). INDONESIAN Model No.4 Mk.1 Enfield bolt-action rifle # BW19781 (.303 British) mfg. by Maltby in 1944. Excellent condition, with full enameled surfaces and an excellent mirror-bright 2-groove bore.  Top of receiver has upside-down W-in-star property marking of Indonesia. Bolt, bottom of magazine and forend of stock stamped SW19791 (matching).  Has 0-marked bolt-head, rear sight is the milled ladder type. JAPANESE Type 44 Arisaka bolt-action cavalry carbine with folding spike-bayonet, 1st variation, Series 1, # 20921 (6.5x50) mfg. at Kokura in c.1913. Excellent condition with full bluing on all major metal parts (smaller parts have intact "straw" color). Chrysanthemum is not ground, but has been punched by a number 6 several times in the center.  Bolt and bolt parts numbered 762.  Bore is somewhat bright and strong.  Stock has original finish with only a few minor handling-marks, includes soft reproduction tan-leather sling.
