ARGENTINE Model 1891 Mauser bolt-action rifle # L8903 (7.65x54) mfg. by Loewe in 1895.  Excellent condition, with 95% or better deep bluing.  All parts matching receiver, including cleaning rod. Crest above chamber ground off (as usual).  Bore excellent and extremely bright with very strong rifling. Stock has original finish with very bold but small Argentinian cartouche on right side. ARGENTINE Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action rifle # N4237 (7.65x53) mfg. by DWM in 1912.  Excellent condition, with 92% strong bluing on all parts (receiver in the white as it should be). Crest above chamber very bold, all-matching numbers excerpt cleaning-rod, bore is strong and mirror-bright. Nicely-figured walnut stock and handguard has very few handling-marks (mostly compressions) but had a horizonal crack that has been arsenal-repaired at wrist.  Includes correct forest-green leather sling. ARGENTINE Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action cavalry carbine # A8393 (7.65x53) mfg. by DWM in 1910. Near Excellent original condition, with 90% bluing on most parts, receiver has been blued also. Argentine crest above chamber clear. All matching serial numbers on all parts except buttstock, has mostly bright and strong bore. ARGENTINE Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action engineer carbine # A4022 (rechambered to .30-06) mfg. by DWM in 1910. Near Excellent original condition, with 90% bluing on most parts, an officially shortened long rifle with turned-down bolt handle. Argentine crest above blued chamber clear. All numbered parts stamped 4022, has extremely bright and strong bore. Dark walnut stock has a few handling-marks. Not import-marked.  PHOTOS . . . $650.    C&R      SOLD

      AUSTRIAN Model 1888/90 Mannlicher straight-pull rifle without serial number  (8x50R) mfg. by Steyr in c.1892.  Very Good condition overall, external metal fully blued except for sides of magazine. Bore is slightly dark with strong rifling. Action is in amazingly good condition and is completely functiona, ŒWG above chamber.l.  Buttstock has original finish with very few handling-marks considering its age. BRAZILIAN Model 1894 Mauser bolt-action infantry rifle # 8650 (rechambered to 8x57mm) mfg. by Fabrique National in 1894. Very Good or better condition, with 90% bluing, has unusual early crest above chamber.  Bore is strong and mirror bright. Seral number on bolt handle unreadable (probably not matching), other numbered pasrt no matching either.  Has 7.91 stamped on left side of barrel-shank (8mm) and I have confirmed it by checking with chamber gague.   The stock and barrel bands is from a Swedish Mauser (original wood being unobtainable).  Includes cleaning-rod, but missing handguard.  One of the rarer antique rifles, not inport-marked.  PHOTOS . . . . $525.*     Antique, no FFL required     SOLD

CZECH Model vz52 semiautomatic rifle # A65967 (7.62x45) mfg. by CZ Brno in 1957.   Excellent condition with original Parkerized finish intact and a gorgeous bright bore. Includes folding bayonet and leather sling, with combination front sight hood.  Stock and handguard has none of the usual cracks and has heavt lacquer finish.   Includes 150 rounds (ten 15-round boxes) of 7.62x45 Czech military ammo.  PHOTOS . . . $975.     C&R SOLD

FRENCH Model 1936 MAS bolt-action rifle # K70402 (7.5x54mm) mfg. by St. Ettienne in 1945. Excellent-PLUS, arsenal refurbished condition with near 100% Parkerized finish on all metal and a nice wood stock and handguard. Mirror-bright bore, matching bolt, no other parts numbered. FRENCH Model 1936-51 MAS bolt-action rifle # F23308 (7.5x54 MAS) mfg. by St. Ettienne in January 1954.  Excellent condition, all matching serial numbers, excellent mirror-bright bore.  Includes grenade-launcher, integral spike-bayonet, as-new sling and rubber recoil pad. JAPANESE Type 44 Arisaka bolt-action carbine # 24395 (6.5x50) mfg. at Koishikawa in c.1910.   Near Excellent condition with 90% or better original finish remaining. Bolt stamped 395 (matching), mum has been overstamped with what appears to be Siamese letter.   Bore is somewhat dark but has strong loands and grooves. Stock has original finish with some of the expected handling marks, thin crack on right side (as shown). Functional and complete with attached spike-bayonet. SOVIET Model SKS-45 Simonov semiautomatic rifle # LN1588 (7.62x39) mfg. by Tula  in 1953.  Excellent refurbished example with 100% blue and a chromed mirror-bright bore.  All matching serial numbers, bolt-carrier and blade-bayonet bright. Has extremely attractive laminated stock with some minor marks in the shellac, handguard is of solid wood and has a couple knocks.  PHOTOS . . . $1200.     C&R   

SWISS Model 1878 Vetterli bolt-action infantry rifle # 160616 (10.4mm Swiss rimfire) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in c.1881.  Excellent condition, all-matching numbers (and every part is numbered). All original external finish is great, bore is extremely bright and strong.  Walnut stock has very few handling markes (mostly impressions from bolt knpobs of adjacent rifles).  Not import-marked, completely functional and about as nice as these come.   PHOTOS . . . $525.*  Antique, no FFL required     SOLD

SWISS Model 96/11 Schmidt-Rubin infantry rifle # 222911 (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1898. All-matching serial numbers inclg magazine.  Near Excellent condition with most original bluing (bottom of magazine and triggerguard white from exposure to sweaty palms when holding) and a near-perfect mirror-bore.  Includes  brass and steel muzzle-cap. SWISS Model K-31 Schmidt-Rubin cavalry carbine # 956446  (7.5x55mm) mfg. by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1951. All-matching serial numbers, Near Excellent or better condition with 85% bluing remaining and a near-perfect mirror-bore. U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3628751 (.30-06), receiver mfg. by Smith-Corona in December 1942 with SC 12-42 barrel.  Excellent-PLUS condition with 98% Parkerizing on all metal. Bore is mirror-bright and very strong (gauges TE = 1.50, MW = 1.0) with 4-groove rifling. Walnut stock has nice finish with only a few very minor handling marks, includes cream-colored leather sling.. Not import-marked, extremely attractive.   PHOTOS . . . $1250.    C&R    SOLD

U.S.A. Model 03-A3 Springfield bolt-action rifle # 3868833 (.30-06) mfg. by Remington in May 1943.   Excellent-PLUS condition with 95% or better light gray Parkerized finish on all metal.  Bright and strong 5-43 dated RA four-groove barrel. Bore is excellent and extremely bright (TE = 3.0, MW = 0.5), walnut stock has a few dings and scrapes from actual service use (but no cracks).  Not import-marked, with front sight hood and web sling.  PHOTOS . . . $1150.        C&R     

U.S.A. Model M1 Carbine semiautomatic rifle # 5093177 (.30 Carbine) mfg. by Inland (a divsion of General Motors) in Summer 1944 with a 3-44 dated Inland barrel. Excellent-PLUS condition, metal has zero wear to Parkerized finish with a mirror bright bore.  This features a flat-topped bolt, flip-type safety, adjustable rear sight and late front band with bayonet-lug. Very nicely figured birch stock and handguard has a couple very minor handling marks. Includes one 15-round magazine (where legal) and correct sling with oiler. Not import-marked, a gorgeous example. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 48 Mauser bolt-action rifle # O0185 (8mm) mfg. by Zastava in c.1950. Excellent condition, a large-ring intermediate-length Mauser with 98% or better original bluing on the metal surfaces (no apparent wear) and a sharp mirror-bore. Sharp Tito-era Yugoslavian crest above chamber. All-matching numbers, with milled triggerguard and magazine-floorplate, knob of bolt has flattened bottom. Walnut stock and handguard hss a bit rough finish and only a few very small dings. Includes cleaning-rod and front sight-hood as ,well as muzzle-cover.  PHOTOS . . . $475.  C&R     SOLD

YUGOSLAVIAN Model 1959 SKS semiautomatic rifle # C-27255 (7.62x39) mfg. by Zastava in 1964. Very Good to Excellent condition, with 8% bluing, mostly bright bore and all-matching serial numbers (bolt not numbered) with integral dark blade bayonet.   Stock has some dings and other handling marks. YUGOSLAVIAN Model 1959/66 A1 SKS semiautomatic rifle # U-685550 (7.62x39) mfg. by Zastava in 1984. Excellent-PLUS condition, with 100% bluing, perfect bore and all-matching numbers with integral bayonet.   Has non-ported grenade-launcher and night-sights.
